If you like to ski, there's no better deals than the ones you can snag in the late Spring. While many ski resorts have closed for the season, the one's with mega snow remain open. Oftentimes, Mammothlate season snow storms can make for perfect conditions without the blistering cold. Best of all, lift tickets and lodging can be had for half off regular season prices. Just don't forget to bring your shorts and sunscreen! Here's 5 great ski resorts and the Springtime deals you can nab:

Sugarloaf, Maine:

In the high peaks of western Maine, you'll find some of the best Spring conditions available in the Northeast. With up to a 40" base and 57 trails still open, there's plenty of skiing left to be done at Sugarloaf. The resort will be open until May 2nd, so don't wait too long. Tickets that would normally set you back $77 during the season will run you a mere $35. Call it a two-for-one with two drinks to boot. Temps are in the 40s and 50s so wear your T-shirt under you jacket. For more information, visit Sugarloaf's web page.

Mammoth Mountain, California:

Ever want to ski really late into the spring? Try summer at Mammoth Mountain where you can ski until July 4th this year. Mammoth just happens to be located in a spot on the Eastern side of the Sierra Nevada mountains where it regularly dumps as much as 50 feet of snow a year. The spring skiing is phenomenal with conditions in late May that most ski resorts envy  in February. Ticket prices aren't nearly as discounted as other resorts because the conditions are so good. 2 day lift tickets that would set you back a wallet-busting $165 during the regular season will only cost you $118 for the rest of the season with a 7 day advanced purchase. For more information visit Mammoth Mountain.

Mt. Bachelor, Oregon:

If you want a month of ultra cheap skiing, head up to Mt. Bachelor. For a paltry $99, you can get a Late Spring Skiing pass and ski from now until May 16th! Conditions are superb with over 430 inches of snow this season and relatively cool temperatures. Find a cheap rental condo and you'll score a great vacation for a dirt cheap price. With a summit of over 9,000 feet you can just head up to the top where the snow will still be solid even on a warm day. For more information visit Mt. Bachelor's website.

Snowbird, Utah:

Very few ski resorts can rival the snow at Mammoth, but up in the Wasatch range of Utah, Snowbird regularly delivers more than 500" of snow. With a current average base of 108" of snow, there's plenty of skiing left. Ticket prices have come down with the Spring season to a tolerable $62 with packages that make it even cheaper. There are a number of $99 / $119 per person per day lodging and lift tickets available which is less than 50% of the high season cost. Nab yourself a package deal and try The Greatest Snow on Earth. For more information visit Snowbird's website.

Arapahoe Basin, Colorado:

Colorado doesn't have the Spring skiing of Oregon or California and by now, most resorts are closed. But Arapahoe Basin, with a peak elevation of over 13,000 feet, sometimes stays open all the way until June. With 42 inches of base and recent snow, conditions are still good. Discounts come in the form of a $359 annual pass. With it, you get to ski the remainder of the season for free as well as all of next season. You'll also get 5 days of skiing at other Colorado resorts plus 5 more days in Bear Valley, CA. That's a ton of skiing for the money. So if you are looking for a big bargain for this year and next, head up to Arapahoe soon.

Skiing can be awfully expensive, but if you ski the late season, you can save a bundle. Try out one these 5 resorts and you'll have just as much fun at a fraction of the price.

I'm not the best skier or snow border, but the one thing that keeps me from hitting the slopes is the cold. I always thought that ski resorts closed at a certain date. Definitely going to check this out next season :)

Thanks,
Matt

I rarely get to ski, but the thought of skiing in a t-shirt on a 50 degree day with an 8 foot base of snow sounds perfect.

Too bad I live so far from Oregon. $99 for a month of skiing would have me up there every weekend.
