All National Parks in the U.S. are offering free admission this weekend.
Entrance fees normally cost $15 to $20 at most parks. Usage fees in National Forests including parking passes are also being waived. Also remember that if you are a senior, age 62 or older, you are eligible for a lifetime Senior pass for a mere $10. Camping fees for seniors are typically half the normally cheap rate. Those who are disabled can obtain a free Access pass that is good for their lifetime.
If you are looking to do something fun this weekend that won't cost you more than gas and the food you bring with you, head to a National Park.
